As well as being a top bloke, Kante also happens to be one of the best in his position and has remained humble despite the mounting medals and accolades coming his way. People like him because he has opted to keep driving his mini instead of a ridiculously impractical sports mega car, he was too shy to ask to hold the World Cup during France’s trophy celebrations and even went to a fan’s house to watch Match of the Day and enjoy a curry after bumping into him at a local mosque. Even his international team-mates have a song for him, which includes the lyrics , “Hes short, hes nice.”
