Blackburn 1992/93

Sunderland 1999/00

Charlton 2000/01

Manchester City 2002/03

Final position: 9thKeegan guided Man City back to the top tier in 2002 and they have remained there since.The now super-rich club were then spearheaded by Nicolas Anelka, who was bought for the big money fee of 13million, and his 14 goals helped them to finish ninth.
West Ham 2005/06
