But the Liverpool faithful couldn’t help themselves when it came to taunting former players Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez.Suarez was jeered all game due to his play-acting and his role in Andy Robertson’s injury, which turned out to be the turning point of the tie, with Wijnaldum replacing him at half-time.Meanwhile Coutinho was mocked having moved to Barcelona in a 142million deal back in 2018, insistent his future would be brighter with the Catalan giants rather than at Anfield.And on Twitter the pair were bother mercilessly ripped as Liverpool advanced to their second Champions League final in a row, as you can see below.
