He told FourFourTwo: Genuinely, they were the team who wanted me the most and went the extra mile.Other teams were interested, but Mancini got in contact a long time before the end of the season to see if I wanted to come here, and to say I was a big part of his plans.When someone puts so much effort into demonstrating they want to sign you, you follow your heart. That was the best decision Ive ever made in football.Silva, 32, has been in Manchester for eight-and-a-half years winning threePremier League titles and League Cups, as well as the FA Cup, along the way.And under current boss, Pep Guardiola, Silva says he is performing to the best of his ability while admitting he struggled with the transition at first.
